Why This Car? Exterior: The body lines of this Cuda have been restored to a better-than-original condition, and the purple paint shines brilliantly. Matte black “billboard” decals on the rear quarter panels proudly display the “440” cubic inch engine. The car features custom flush mount front grilles, hidden headlights, hood scoops, a rear spoiler, and twin racing mirrors, all adding to its aggressive and distinctive appearance. Interior: The black bucket seat interior is superbly maintained and retains a stock appearance, with a few modifications. Carbon fiber inserts adorn the dash and console, aftermarket performance gauges have been installed, purple Cuda’ logos are featured on the floor mats, and purple seat belts add a touch of flair. The rear seat and door panels maintain their stock appearance, as does the black carpet and headliner. The car is equipped with a black sport steering wheel and the famous “Pistol Grip” shifter mounted in the factory black floor console. Mechanical: The engine in this muscle car is significantly more powerful than the original 1973 stock engine. Originally a 440 cubic inch engine, it has been increased to a massive 513 cubic inches. It boasts numerous high-performance components, including a performance cam and kit, an aluminum Mod Man intake, a performance Holley carburetor, MSD ignition and box, a reworked fuel supply system, a custom performance twin open-air cleaner box and system, a serpentine belt system, performance heads, big tube headers, aluminum valve covers, a chrome battery box, a custom aluminum radiator, and more. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a heavy-duty 6- speed transmission and a Mopar rear end.
