Why this car? Interior: The interior showcases a new Orange and black herringbone tone bucket seat design. It also features a wood grain dash with the original Rally Cluster tick tock tach, Kenwood Stereo Radio and amp system, wood steering wheel, and newer carpeting. Red Challenger RT mats with sound deadener provide a finishing touch. Exterior: The Challenger was restored with a stunning Hemi orange exterior, complemented by factory black RT stripes and a black vinyl top. The restoration process involved the removal of any rust, painting the chassis to match the car, and numerous other meticulous steps. Mechanical Specifications: The engine compartment houses a more powerful engine than its original 383 cubic inch one. It now features a 1970 383 hp block, bored 40 over to a 438 cubic inch stroker motor. The engine is equipped with forged internals, aluminum Edelbrock closed chamber heads, 11.1 compression, Harland Sharp 11-1 roller rocker arms, Qwick Fuel carb with mechanical secondaries, high volume oil pump, molly pump drive, balanced forged rotating assembly, and high volume oil pump. It is paired with a Norm’s Performance A-833 4-speed transmission from Wisconsin, operated by a Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter. The power is delivered to a HD 323 Sure Grip factory rear end. Additional features include Sanden Air Conditioning, power front disc brakes with rear drum brakes, and new tube headers with true dual exhaust and RT tips. Contact us today to purchase this meticulously restored 1971 Dodge Challenger. The quality and investment in this car are evident, making it a perfect choice for muscle car enthusiasts seeking a nostalgic driving experience.
