Classic Car Addict is excited to present this 1968 Ford Bronco for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The Bronco entered the 1968 battle for sale in the four-wheel-drive market featuring new mechanical refinements, additional safety and improved driver comfort. The consignor states that the Bronco had sat since 1995 and he was able to replace the engine and get her running again. He purchased it with the intent to do a complete restoration.
As you can see, this Bronco needs a little love; the exterior is finished in primer, so its ready for paint, and the best part is you get to choose the color. The top is finished in white and is removable. Think of it as a blank canvas that you get to create! The original color from the factory was medium turquoise. The front bumper and grille were painted white, and the lights do fully operate.
The interior currently features two front bucket seats that have black seat covers. Door panels have been finished in dark navy blue vinyl inserts. A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, fuel, temp, oil, and alt gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 16,933 miles. That averages about 302 miles per year. Mounted to the steering column is an aftermarket AutoMeter tachometer. And mounted just below the dash are two additional gauges that read water and oil pressure. No carpet is present, and the dash does have cracks. There is a tank switch located directly below the driver's seat.
This 1968 Bronco is powered by a replacement 1974 Ford 302 V8 and was originally a three-on-the-tree and was converted to a four-speed manual with power steering. It has a long travel lift kit with Doetsch shock absorbers. This is a 4x4, but we do not have the 4x4 drive shaft. It has front locking hubs that do engage. She rolls on BF Goodrich all terrain T/A's, 31x10.50R15LT.
This Bronco is fully rust free. She started life in San Jose, CA and is currently waiting on its new owners. Call Classic Car Addict today at 480-256-1459.
