1964 Pontiac LeMans Convertible- One Family Since New!- Unrestored!
One family-owned, unrestored desirable collectible vehicles from the '60s don't come around very often. If you share the appreciation for this generation of the LeMans (that also had the same body as the first year for the GTO!), this one deserves a close look. With such a wonderful history, it is an excellent candidate, for a full restoration to bring it back to "as new" condition. Although you may decide to leave it in the current unrestored and original condition to enjoy driving and going to shows. It will be fun to show off a 57-year-old well-cared-for "original"!
It came from the factory well optioned for the "mid-sixties". It has the 326 Cubic Inch V8 with power steering, power brakes, and a power top (needing work for the power to work from what we are told. It functions manually now). It has bucket seats and an automatic transmission with a floor shift in the console. The wheel covers are the same as the optional GTO wheel covers with "Spinners". Overall, it is ready to "turn the key and have fun" with. The mileage is 46,771.
A note from our seller... (She is still a bit reluctant to see her go):
"Bought by my grandfather as a surprise for his mother, Jenne, who wanted a red convertible “to tool around town.” When she passed, he stored it in a climate-controlled garage until I needed a car to drive to work at the family hotel in northern Michigan. She has been loved by five generations of our family and now we want a home for her with someone who can give her the attention she deserves."
