Tail Lamp Ground Strap Assembly

Fits 1969 GTO LeMans Tempest

This is the ground strap assembly that mounts on the tail lamp housing on 1969 GTO /Judge / LeMans or Tempest. Without these, your tail lamp or back up lights will not work correctly. Kit includes the copper wire with ground terminal and eyelet to mount to the bezel stud to give your tail lamps the proper ground they need. Since the tail lamp housings are always made of plastic, GM put a ground strap on the tail lamp housing on each socket to properly ground the tail lamps to make a complete circuit. Replace your old or rotted out ground strap with this new copper strap. This item is sold individually only – 2 used per car.
