1967-1968 Pontiac Tempest, GTO, Full-Size Cars.       ORIGINAL ACCESSORY 8-TRACK TAPE PLAYER With SURROUND PAD.   These are ORIGINAL GM PARTS.  The part number 7298842 shows for 1967 Tempest-GTO, but the only cars I have seen this same unit with the padded surround on were 1968 GTOs. This tape player looks great. It does not work. Will need rebuilt or refurbished. The face looks great with bright chrome knobs and nice looking woodgrain. The chrome is very bright without any visible pitting. The surround pad has some discoloration/fading. Could be redyed. No real rust on the housing. IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ORIGINAL.
