The Chevrolet C/K series of full-sized pickups was the longest running truck model in GM's history. The second-generation of the C/K lineup focused on adding creature comforts to full-sized pickups. Ride quality was improved through the use of coil spring trailer arm rear suspensions and independent front suspensions. This iteration of pickup began Chevrolet's focus on producing trucks with greater appeal to the masses.
This 1971 C10 custom pickup is an outstanding combination of originality and modern performance and comfort. Recently completed, it's restoration took a solid truck and focused on enhancing its looks and performance. Starting with a 5.3L LS V8 with a polished aluminum intake tied to an automatic transmission and custom exhaust, the truck was built to perform. Lowered with a 3-inch front and 5-inch drop in the rear using a Western Chassis suspension kit and sway bar with 4-wheel disc brakes and 20-inch U.S. Mag wheels, the truck is a great driver. The striking exterior of the truck is painted in a Ferrari Red and is well set off by its custom tan interior made comfortable by Vintage Air Conditioning. All around, this truck is an eye-catching square body that shouldn't be missed.
